hand werk spielt Premiere meines neuen Quartetts / hand werk plays premiere of new piece for @ACHT BRÜCKEN | Musik für Köln 12.04.2014
Mittwoch/Wednesday, 30. April 2014, 18 Uhr/6pm, The New Yorker | Dock one,
Hafenstraße 1, 51063 Köln-Deutz

The very committed musicians of Cologne based ensemble "hand werk" (Daniel Agi, Heather Roche, Stefanie Van Backlé, Niklas Seidl, Jens Ruland, Christoph Stöber) play the premiere of my new piece "aldiladellaldiqua" that was commissioned by the @ACHT BRÜCKEN | Musik für Köln festival.

The festival's motto this year is "Im Puls" (in the pulse), and, putting new music's mainstreams aside, the piece plays, in an undogmatic way, with illusionary rhythms placing a strong focus on the harmonic aspect.

The programme contains also great music by Enno Poppe (Piano Trio "Trauben"), Masahiro Miwa, Sergej Maingardt, Timothy McCormack

The concert starts at 7.30pm and will be repeated exactly one week later, on Friday 08/02, in Cologne's St Peter.
